Our Services
Our fly shop & outfitting service is in the heart of the Cherokee Indian Reservation and near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains Park. We guide on more than 3,000 miles of trout and smallmouth bass streams and lakes. We know where all the good fishing holes are! Guided Trips
We offer a variety of guided fishing trips including walk & wade and float trips. We fish in the trout capital of North Carolina around Cherokee, Jackson County, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and our private waters on the Soque River in Clarkesville, GA. On all of these trips, we take care of everything!

Wade Fishing Trips
Our shop is located within 5 – 30 minutes of the best trout streams. You’ll spend your time with tight lines and not traffic lines.

Float Fishing Trips
We offer half, 3/4, and full-day float fishing trips on multiple nearby rivers – including the Tuckaseegee, Little Tennessee, & French Broad Rivers.

Fly Fishing Lessons
Looking for beginner fly fishing lessons, casting lessons, or fly. tying lessons? Book a time with one of our instructors and improve your skills!

“I just went fishing today on a full day guided trip, and the guide was awesome, super friendly and when it comes to knowledge of fly fishing and where to catch fish, he will put you on em’ we caught about 40 wild rainbow trout and a couple stocked rainbow today. Waters We Fish
With over 3,000 miles of trout streams within an hour radius of our shop, this area boasts some of the best fly fishing on the East Coast. The Tuckaseegee River, the Nantahala River, the Oconoluftee River, the Raven’s Fork, and the Little Tennessee River are just a few of the river systems that we fly fish. Just a few miles from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the North Carolina side of the Smokies contains several world renown fisheries. Deep Creek, Hazel Creek, Forney Creek, Eagle Creek, Raven’s Fork, and Straight Fork are just a few of the wild trout fisheries that lie on the eastern slope of the Smoky Mountain National Park.
Looking for trophy trout on the fly? The Raven’s Fork catch and release fly fishing only section is one of the best public trophy water fisheries in the southeast. With most trout averaging 18+ inches this fishery offers the fly fisherman the opportunity to catch trophy trout on one of the most scenic river systems in Western North Carolina.

Fly Fishing Reservations
Advance reservations are encouraged; however we will try to accommodate last minute reservations. A 50% deposit is required on all trips. Deposits are fully refundable up to 72 hours prior to the trip. Same day cancellations result in full charge. We fish in all weather conditions, rain or shine. Weather conditions can change quickly , we work with the client to determine the best possible option for a successful trip. Trips can be rescheduled if weather conditions are not suitable for fishing. Call us for reservations or you can book online.
What’s Included?
A friendly, patient experienced guide, local transportation, beverages, fly rod and reel, breathable waders and boots, all terminal tackle, and flies. A freshly prepared stream side meal accompanies all full day trips.
What’s Not Included?
Fish, we practice catch and release. Fishing license can be purchased at our shop. A gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated. 15-25% gratuity is customary. Absolutely everything else is provided! What should you bring? Rain gear, polarized sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, and a camera. All items are available in our store. When fishing with children please bring extra clothing. In the winter it is best to layer and bring an extra change of warm socks.
