Its summer time here at Rivers Edge Outfitters in Cherokee, North Carolina. The water levels are low, and very clear. Water Temperatures rise along with the increasing air temperatures. Fishing faster, cooler, more oxygenated water, is your best option for catching trout in the summer. We back away from using bigger streamers, big bright nymphs ( in most situations) and start fishing dry dropper fly setups to increase our odds of catching trout.
